One door, and somebody on it who will say hello, hand you a sheet, and then let you get on with it. Coffee is straight ahead in the hall.
Where to sit
Anywhere. The back half fills first, as everywhere. The gallery is quiet and nobody will look at you up there.
Things people worry about beforehand
I have never been to a church like this.
Then you will find it plainer than you expect. No robes, no liturgy, no responses to join in with. Songs, prayers, and a long talk about a passage.
I am not a Christian.
Come anyway. Nothing on a Sunday requires you to say or sing anything you do not mean, and a fair number of people here spent a year or two in exactly that position first.
Will somebody try to convert me?
Somebody will preach, which is what you came to hear. Nobody will corner you over coffee — and if they do, tell one of the elders, because we would want to know.
Can I just listen online first?
Yes, and a lot of people do for months. Every sermon is on the site by Monday evening.
