Wellspring Church

Through the week

The building is used far more on weekdays than on Sundays, and by far more people than come to church.

Most of what is below is open to anyone in the town, costs nothing or nearly nothing, and has no strings attached to it whatsoever.

Using the building

Two halls, a kitchen and a vestry, hired out at a rate that covers the heating and nothing else.

The main hall

Seats ninety, or sixty at tables. Kitchen, accessible WC, step-free from Church Street. £14 an hour, half that for anything run for or by people in the town.

The upper room

Seats twenty round a table. Up one flight, no lift, which we would fix tomorrow if the money existed. £8 an hour.

The church itself

Concerts, recitals, rehearsals and school carol services. Priced per event because they are all different — ask.
