What it is
The warmest template of the ten, and the one that most rewards good photography. It is built for a church whose building is busy all week and whose public face is its welcome — the sort of place people find through a toddler group or a quiet day rather than through a Sunday.
The warmest of the set. A split hero puts a painted panel of type against a full-height photograph, the ground tone changes from section to section as you scroll, and there are pages for the things people ring up about: weddings, baptisms, funerals, retreats and quiet days.

What to change first
The photographs. Lantern gives half the hero to a picture, so replacing the Unsplash images with your own building is the single biggest improvement available — more than any amount of rewriting.

We do not run retreats. Can I drop that page?
Yes — delete the file and remove it from the navigation in each page's header. Nothing else references it. The same page repurposes well as “Quiet days”, “Pilgrimage” or “Away weekend”.
How much photography do I need?
Five or six pictures carry the whole template: the hero, three plates for the “What's on” band, and one portrait. They do not need to be professional — they need to be of your actual church.
