Confession
What we believe
Eight paragraphs, in plain English, with the passages in the margin. If you want the long version we hold to the 1689 Baptist Confession, and there is a copy on the table by the door.
For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures.
1 Corinthians 15:3PlainlyWhat we are not
We are not a movement, a network or a brand, and we are not trying to become one. We have no campuses, no app and no plans for either.
We do not tell people how to vote, and you will find the whole range of political opinion in the pews on any given Sunday, which is as it should be.
We do not promise that following Christ will make you healthier or wealthier. Several of the people you will meet here are neither, and their faith is the sturdiest thing in the building.
