If you are new here
Please do not give. Come for six months, work out whether you trust us, and decide then. The offering is a box by the door on the way out rather than a plate passed down the row, precisely so that nobody is put on the spot.

Ask the treasurer for a form. Regular giving is what lets the deacons commit to a mercy fund that opens whether or not it was a good month.
Cash, cheque, or in kind
All three still work. So does a cord of firewood, which is how rather a lot of the heating bill has been met over the years.
Why there is no “Give now” button
Every dollar routed through a card processor arrives about three per cent smaller. On last year’s giving that is more than six thousand dollars, which is a fifth of the mercy fund.
If enough people ask we will add one. Nobody has yet.

The full accounts
The figures above are reviewed independently each March and presented at the spring members’ meeting. Any member may see the complete accounts; so may anyone else who asks the treasurer, because we cannot think of a good reason to say no.
